Kathleen enjoyed a long career in secondary and higher education as a teacher, counselor, associate admissions director, and as a freelance writer and editor.  Following retirement, she and her husband, Jim, moved to Bainbridge from Seattle in the summer of 2018 and enjoy reading, swimming, and exploring the beautiful trails on Bainbridge. They have grown children in Seattle and Spokane, where there are also three grandchildren.
