First Time Visiting
Welcome! We are so glad you found us.
We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a positive change. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.
We are passionate about helping people feel at home in our community. Attending our worship service is a great way to get to know us. Our services are held every Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Island School on Day Road on Bainbridge Island. They are about one hour in length and include music, hymns, readings, and a sermon. Children and youth are welcome to join us in the sanctuary for a story followed by our learning programs for kids of all ages that are available during the remainder of the service. We also offer childcare for younger children during the Sunday service.
Parking is available in front of the Island School and directly across Day Road in two lots. Visitor and disabled parking is available directly in front of the Island School. Look for greeters and the Cedars Welcome banner at the door at the east end of the visitor parking lot.
Following services, we invite you to join us as we gather for fellowship and refreshments. Speakers and members are on-hand to welcome you and answer questions. Be sure to look for at Visitors Table where one or two of our friendly members can guide your introduction to Cedars and help you find out more about our community and Unitarian Universalism.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
